SEL worked in partnership with the project team to allow a subterranean leisure area to be constructed in a hillside in the grounds of a property overlooking the Malvern Hills.
Due to the presence of mudstone rock it was not possible for a sheet pile retaining wall to be employed. SEL suggested and delivered a method where the ground level could be temporarily regulated allowing a significant RC structure to be formed within a cofferdam. SEL’s extensive range of equipment backed by our experienced and imaginative technical team also allowed the concrete elements of the project to be formed using our Frami and Dokaflex systems.
