Hiring specialist groundworks equipment from Site Equipment is easy. Tell us what you need and we'll take care of the rest: from selecting the right kit for your site conditions through to delivery and then collection when you're done.

We offer short and long-term hire from our three depots in Bristol, Cardiff and London, with speedy nationwide delivery.

What we hire

• Temporary Groundworks: trench boxes, bracing systems, waler frames, trench sheets and road plates
• Trenchless technology: pipe bursting, impact moles, cable winches and directional drilling equipment
• Falsework and formwork: Dokaflex soffit support, Frami formwork panels, Titan Soffit support system, column clamps and manhole shutters
• Propping and needling: Slimshore soldiers, props, raking props, push-pull props and acrow props
• Lifting equipment: crane forks, block and kerb grabs and chain slings
• Pipe handling and utilities: culvert pullers, pipe caddies, pipe grabs and manhole lifting equipment

How it works

1. Get in touch. Call any of our depots or send us an email. If you're not sure exactly what you need, our team can help you work out the right equipment for your project.
2. Site visit. For more complex jobs, we offer no-obligation site visits so our engineers can assess conditions and recommend the best approach.
3. Temporary works design. If your project requires it, our qualified civil and structural engineers can produce temporary works designs and drawings to BS 5975 standards.
4. Get a quote. We'll put together a competitive and comprehensive quote for you. Equipment hire is charged per week.
5. Delivery. We deliver from Bristol, Cardiff and London with rapid turnaround. We regularly deliver further afield than other suppliers.
6. Collection. When you're finished, let us know and we'll arrange collection.

Equipment safety

Every item is inspected and maintained at our depots between hires. All equipment is supplied with relevant safety and test certificates, and meets current UK health and safety standards.
