Eurex Props
An adjustable steel floor prop, in 20kN and 30kN versions from 1.48m to 5.5m
- Certified to EN 1065
- Rated load at any extension
- Releases cleanly under load
- Hot-dip galvanised inside and out
A floor prop is an adjustable steel post that carries a vertical load. The Eurex eco is Doka's floor prop. It reaches 5.5m, carries up to 41.2kN and is certified to EN 1065.
Props support formwork while concrete sets, suspended slabs, beam soffits and stair flights, the floors below a fresh pour, and existing structures during refurbishment.
A Eurex holds at least 20kN, or 30kN for the 30 eco, at any height in its range. Use one where an acrow will not carry enough at the height you need.
The pegging holes are numbered, so a prop can be set to a known height and checked on inspection. The thread releases under load for striking. Everything is galvanised inside and out.
For capacity at a specific setting, or help working out how many props a slab needs, contact your nearest depot. We are happy to offer a free consultation – and if you need help with propping calculations, our in-house engineers can produce temporary works designs to BS 5975.
