The lowering head H20 allows fast striking of a Dokaflex soffit support system. One hammer blow releases the head and drops the whole deck clear of the cured slab.
During erection, the head sits on top of a Eurex floor prop in its open (taller) position and carries the H20 primary beams, single or twinned. Once the concrete has reached striking strength, a hammer blow to the lowering wedge drops the beams and plywood deck away from the soffit in one action, so panels and beams can be removed without disturbing the props.
The built-in lowering travel means a Dokaflex deck can be struck and moved on to the next bay quickly. It also protects the timber beams from the crowbar damage common with fixed heads.
Where no lowering function is needed, for example on back-propping, the simpler 4-way head H20 does the same supporting job.
