The removable folding tripod top clamps around the base of a Eurex floor prop so the prop stands plumb and unaided, which is the first step in erecting a Dokaflex soffit support system.
Erection of a Dokaflex deck starts from a corner, standing Eurex props with tripods on a regular grid, typically 2m × 3m for slabs up to 300mm thick. With a tripod holding each prop, one operative can set out and level the props, drop on the lowering heads and lift in the H20 primary beams without a second operative holding the props.
The legs fold in for compact transport and storage, and the clamp releases so the tripod can be removed and reused as soon as the deck is self-supporting. Legs can be positioned to suit walls and corners, and the galvanised finish stands up to repeated site use.
