A ladder access platform gives a trench a fixed, safe way in and out. The platform can be pinned and clipped onto the trench box channel, with a gated opening onto a secured ladder into the excavation.
A gate at the top means the edge stays guarded while your team come and go. It also has a ladder which secures onto the platform rather than being leaned against the box, so you get the firm base and the protection against slipping that HSE guidance asks for.
Our ladder access platforms fit the whole SEL trench box range, from the 2m Lightweight Box up to the 6m Super Drag Box. A Davit Arm Socket can be added to take a davit safety system for lowering and retrieval.
