Steel mesh barriers are edge protection panels with the guardrails, toeboard and debris mesh built into a single unit. The rails are designed to protect against a fall, and the mesh to contain any tools or debris kicked towards the excavation below.
We supply the CombiSafe Steel Mesh Barrier system, designed to the temporary edge protection standard EN 13374. Each panel hooks onto its posts in one lift, so a run of protected edge goes up quickly and comes down just as fast when the works move on.
With the right accessories, the same panels can be mounted on our trench boxes and on formwork systems including Frami panels, Dokaflex falsework and Slimshore soldiers, so the panels can move from the dig to the pour as the job progresses.
